It is highly important that a franchisee receives the correct level of support from the franchisor, and that help is always at hand if required. Unsurprisingly, it is of no benefit to anyone if the franchisee is left high and dry, wondering how to run their business.
Back up should come in many forms – in training packages, on the telephone, in person, in print and online. By solely relying on one of these methods, a franchisor can run the risk of depersonalisation and disengagement. Consequently, the result may be one of misinterpretation or a perceived lack of interest.
